NO CHARGE!

The Circle is an open forum for women to support each other, learn and grow together and have a real conversation. The Circle was called by Carrie Kish because her experience is that women have a lot to say and that we aren’t getting the opportunity to say it. The Circle is being hosted by The Betty Ferguson Foundation, a non-profit organization that trains, develops and empowers women and girls in the Santa Clarita Valley. Together, The Betty Ferguson Foundation and Destiny NOW! welcome you to join the conversation that is happening at The Circle. The Circle currently meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at The Betty Ferguson Foundation in Valencia. Light refreshments and hospitality begin at 6:30pm. The Circle begins promptly at 7pm. At The Circle, women gather in (you got it) a circle. Every meeting begins with brief introductions followed by a deeper conversation. The topics for conversation belong to a broad range and include celebration, loneliness, menu planning, spiritual growth, romance, weight, grief, personal development, communication and money. The topics are chosen by The Circle through a fun group process. The Circle closes at 9pm. There is no cost to join. The Circle is open to women of all ages and girls ages 13 and older.Because mature content is sometimes discussed at The Circle, girls under 18 are welcome with their mothers or a family-approved mentor.

Women Like You

"There are women who make things better... simply by showing up. There are women who make things happen. There are women who make their way. There are women who make a difference. And women who make us smile. There are women of wit and wisdom who - through strength and courage - make it through. There are women who change the world every day... Women like you."

- Ashley Rice
Shine!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

-Marianne Williamson
